Agreement to Terms
By accessing or purchasing from Draco Diamond (dracodiamond.com), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, do not use our website or services.
Product Information and Accuracy
All jewelry is crafted to order using IGI certified lab grown diamonds and certified precious metals. We provide full specifications including carat weight, clarity grade, color grade, metal type, and IGI certification details for every piece.
Every piece is inspected against its IGI certificate before it ships. If a piece does not match its certified specifications it does not leave our facility. The IGI grading report included with your order is the verifiable record of exactly what you received.
Minor variations in made to order production are normal and do not constitute a defect. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from its description, contact us within 30 days of delivery at [email protected]. We will resolve it.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices include materials, labor, and certification. Shipping and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.
We accept major credit cards, Shop Pay, and other payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is processed at the time of order. Production does not begin until payment is confirmed in full.
Made to Order Production
Every Draco Diamond piece is made to order. Your piece does not exist until you order it. Production takes 1 to 2 weeks. Delivery after production takes 2 to 7 business days within Canada. Total time from order to delivery is typically 14 to 21 days.
If you have an occasion date, tell us at the time of ordering. We will confirm whether we can deliver in time before production begins. See Section 7 for full Occasion Guarantee terms.
Custom sizing, design modifications, or expedited production may be available. Contact us before ordering to discuss options and realistic timelines.
Returns and Refunds
To initiate a return, email [email protected] with your order number. We respond within 24 hours with return instructions and clear next steps.
Once we receive and inspect the returned piece, eligible refunds are processed immediately to your original payment method. Bank posting typically takes 5 to 10 business days.
Custom and engraved pieces are final sale unless there is a verified manufacturing defect or our error. We confirm this before you place a custom order.
Exchanges are handled the same as returns. Contact us and we will find the right piece for you.
The Four Guarantees
Draco Diamond stands behind every piece through four explicit guarantees. These are commitments backed by our return process, not marketing language.
Occasion Guarantee — Full Terms
The Occasion Guarantee applies when all of the following conditions are met:
- You provide your occasion date at the time of ordering via order notes or by emailing us immediately after purchase
- We confirm in writing within 24 hours that delivery by your date is achievable based on your location and our current production queue
- The piece arrives after the confirmed occasion date through our fault or our carrier's fault
When all conditions are met and we miss your date, you receive a full refund and keep the piece. No return required. No negotiation.
The Occasion Guarantee does not apply when:
- No occasion date was provided at the time of ordering
- We did not confirm in writing that the date was achievable
- The order was placed without sufficient lead time for confirmation
- Delay was caused by an incorrect shipping address, refused delivery, or unpaid customs fees
- Delay was caused by events beyond our control including natural disasters, border closures, or carrier strikes
If we cannot confirm your date is achievable, we will tell you clearly before production begins.
Shipping and Delivery
We ship via fully insured express courier with tracking and signature confirmation required at delivery.
- Canada: 2 to 7 business days after production
- United States: 5 to 10 business days after production
- International: 10 to 21 business days after production, subject to customs
You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Import duties, customs fees, and local taxes are your responsibility. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or unpaid customs fees, reshipping costs are your responsibility.
Sizing and Fit
Rings are produced in the size you provide. You are responsible for accurate sizing information. We recommend using a professional ring sizer before ordering.
One complimentary resize may be available within 60 days of delivery, within two sizes up or down, where the design allows. You cover shipping to us. We cover resizing labor and return shipping.
Bracelet lengths are listed on each product page. Contact us before ordering if you require a custom length.
Care and Maintenance
Lab grown diamonds have the same hardness and durability as natural diamonds. Settings and metal require routine care.
- Clean with warm water, mild soap, and a soft brush
- Store in a fabric lined jewelry box away from other pieces
- Remove during heavy physical activity, swimming, or chemical exposure
- Have prongs professionally inspected annually
Damage from wear, misuse, or failure to maintain the piece is not covered under any guarantee.
Intellectual Property
All website content including images, descriptions, logos, design elements, and written content is the property of Draco Diamond or its content suppliers. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
Privacy and Data Security
We collect only what is necessary to fulfill your order and communicate with you. We do not sell personal information to third parties. Payment information is processed through Shopify's secure payment infrastructure and is not stored on our servers. For full details see our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of Liability
Draco Diamond is not liable for delays caused by couriers, customs authorities, or events beyond our direct control except where covered by the Occasion Guarantee in Section 7. We are not liable for damage, loss, or theft after confirmed delivery. Our maximum liability in any circumstance is limited to the purchase price of the item in question.
Disputes and Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. If a dispute arises, contact us first at [email protected]. We will work to resolve it directly before any formal process is pursued.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes that affect existing orders will be communicated directly.
