A 2.01 carat round measures roughly 8.1mm across, which reads large on a size 5 and balanced from a size 6 upward. The hidden halo sits under the stone, so it adds height rather than width and clears most wedding bands sitting flush.

White gold sits cool against the stone and amplifies the sparkle. Yellow gold brings warmth. Rose gold sits between the two. Platinum is the heaviest and the most hypoallergenic. All options come in solid 10K, 14K, 18K.

What is a hidden halo? + A ring of small diamonds set around the basket underneath the centre stone, facing outward rather than up. You do not see it looking straight down at the ring. You see it from the side, and it lifts the centre stone visually without widening it.
What does VVS2 clarity actually mean? + Very Very Slightly Included, second tier. A trained grader needs 10x magnification to locate the inclusions. To the eye the stone is clean. Most retailers stock VS2 at this carat weight, which is two grades lower and still eye clean, so VVS2 is a genuine step up rather than a marketing line.

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds? + Yes. Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. A gemologist cannot tell the difference without specialized equipment. The FTC confirmed their equivalence in 2018. IGI grades them on the same cut, color, clarity, and carat scale as mined stones. The only difference is origin.
Which metal should I choose? + Silver gives the same bright white look as white gold at the lowest price, a strong choice if you want the centre stone to do the talking. 10K is the most durable for daily wear and where most customers land. 14K and 18K offer higher purity with a richer tone. Platinum is dense, hypoallergenic, and never needs re plating. All options come in white, yellow, and rose gold.
