A 3 carat cushion measures about 8.5mm across and covers roughly half the width of the finger on a size 6. The marquise shoulders taper toward the band, so the piece sits flush against most wedding bands without a gap.

White metals hold the yellow at the most contrast. Yellow gold warms the setting and softens the difference between the centre and the white accents. Platinum is the heaviest and the most hypoallergenic.

Care is simple. Warm water and a soft brush. Remove before lifting weights or working with harsh chemicals. The setting is designed for daily wear.

Is the yellow colour natural to the diamond? + Yes. The colour comes from the diamond itself, not from a coating or a treatment applied afterwards. Lab grown yellow diamonds get their colour the same way mined yellow diamonds do, from nitrogen present as the crystal forms.
What is a hidden halo? + A ring of small white diamonds set around the basket underneath the centre stone, facing outward rather than up. You do not see it looking straight down at the ring. You see it from the side, and it lifts the centre stone without widening it.
Why are the side stones white rather than yellow throughout? + Two of the four side stones on each shoulder are yellow marquise and the rounds between them are colourless. Colourless stones next to a yellow centre make the yellow read deeper. An all yellow band flattens the effect.
How big is a 3 carat cushion? + About 8.5mm across. On a size 6 it covers roughly half the width of the finger.
Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds? + Yes. Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. A gemologist cannot tell the difference without specialized equipment. The FTC confirmed their equivalence in 2018.
