1 carat oval is approximately 7mm long by 5mm wide on the face up, slightly longer than a same carat round. The length is the point. The stone reads larger than its weight because the eye traces the long axis. One size fits all ear sizes.

Why are oval studs considered more flattering? + Oval diamonds elongate the visible silhouette. On the earlobe, this lengthens the lobe and draws the eye downward along the neck.
