Is the blue color natural or treated? + The blue is grown into the diamond, not applied to it. Trace boron in the growth chamber colors the crystal the same way it colors natural blue diamonds. It is permanent, through the entire stone, and cannot wear off.
Why bezel set? + A bezel wraps metal around the full girdle of the stone. It protects the corners of the radiant cut, never catches on clothing, and gives the color an unbroken frame. It is the most secure setting made.
Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds? + Yes. Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. A gemologist cannot tell the difference without specialized equipment. The FTC confirmed their equivalence in 2018. IGI grades them on the same cut, color, clarity, and carat scale as mined stones. The only difference is origin.
What does the rhodium finish mean for maintenance? + Rhodium is a surface coating applied to white gold to enhance brightness and scratch resistance. It is standard on white gold jewelry and does not affect the solid gold setting underneath. Over years of daily wear the coating can thin. A jeweler can re plate it for a small fee. This is routine maintenance, not a flaw.
