Statement Lab Grown Diamond Jewellery
Signature Pieces is Draco Diamond's statement collection: 21 high carat lab grown diamond necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings from 0.50ct to 59.5ct. White diamonds are IGI certified E to F colour, VS2 and better, and the collection also holds fancy pink and fancy blue pieces named in the title. Entry is $1,299 CAD and the ceiling is $28,002 CAD for a 59.5ct tennis necklace.
What makes a piece a statement piece?
Scale and concentration
A statement piece carries its weight in one place and is meant to be the only thing being read. Everyday jewellery sits at 1ct to 3ct and disappears into a look. In this collection the line falls near 8ct for necklaces and bracelets, and near 5ct for rings. The 24.54ct pear cluster bracelet and the 59.5ct tennis necklace sit well past it.
When scale is worth paying for
Scale is worth it when the piece is seen across a room and worn on occasions rather than commutes. The step from a 12ct lariat at $9,099 to a 45ct lariat at $22,669 buys presence, not durability. Below that, the 8.5ct oval five stone ring at $3,720 and the 13ct pear clover bracelet at $4,201 deliver most of the visual effect. Buy scale for beauty, not as an investment.
Styling restraint
One statement piece at a time. A 59.5ct tennis necklace does not share a neckline with a pendant, and a 15ct ring does not share a hand with a stacked band. Pair a statement necklace with plain studs. Pair the 9.6ct pear drop cluster earrings with a bare neck. Restraint is what makes the scale read as intentional.

Frequently Asked
Statement jewellery questions
Does a 59.5ct necklace carry one certificate or many?
One. A multi stone piece carries a single IGI certificate covering the piece. Single stone pieces carry a certificate per stone. Either way it ships with the order and can be verified free at IGI.org.
Is a high carat piece safe to wear regularly?
The diamonds are Mohs 10 and will not cloud, fade or change colour. The risk sits in the setting and the clasp. Inspection every three to four months is the standard cadence for high end pieces worn often.
Why does price not scale evenly with carat weight?
Larger individual stones cost disproportionately more per carat than small ones, and setting complexity compounds it. The 12ct lariat at $9,099 and the 45ct lariat at $22,669 differ by far more than their weight ratio suggests.
Do the fancy pink and fancy blue pieces carry the same grading?
Fancy colour diamonds are graded on a separate scale from the E to F range used for white diamonds. Those pieces are identified by colour in the title and ship with their own IGI report.
What should a first statement purchase be?
A bracelet or earrings before a necklace. The 13ct pear clover bracelet at $4,201 and the 8ct halo circle drop earrings at $4,888 work with far more of a wardrobe, and get worn more often for the money.
