Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds? + Yes. Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. A gemologist cannot tell the difference without specialized equipment. The FTC confirmed their equivalence in 2018. IGI grades them on the same cut, color, clarity, and carat scale as mined stones. The only difference is origin.
What does the rhodium finish mean for maintenance? + Rhodium is a surface coating applied to white gold to enhance brightness and scratch resistance. It is standard on white gold jewelry and does not affect the solid gold setting underneath. Over years of daily wear the coating can thin. A jeweler can re plate it for a small fee. This is routine maintenance, not a flaw.
Which metal should I choose? + Silver gives you the same bright white look as white gold at the lowest price point, a strong choice if you want the diamond to do the talking. 10K is the most durable for daily wear and where most customers land. 14K and 18K offer higher purity with a richer tone.
